Type: LUNAR Mare Basale
Dhofar 287, a LUNAR Meteorite, was found on January 14, 2001.
A single dark gray stone of 154 grams, weight questionable, was
recovered without fusion Crust. It was found in the Dhofar region
of Oman, 400 m from Dhofar 025,
This meteorite was published in the Meteoritical Society Bulletin No. 85
